The location of the farm is perfect. It is definitely out in the country, but not too far from town. The farm terrain is flat to gently rolling but also includes part of Hacker Smith mountain. About half of the acreage (75 acres or so) is tillable. Mostly fertile creek bottoms. Several perfect building spots overlook the farm and the surrounding mountains and countryside. Two ponds and several creeks are found on the property. Lots of mature timber in the wooded area. Some of the critters found around the farm: fox and gray squirrel, dove, eastern cottontail rabbit, opossum, bobwhite, raccoon, white tailed deer, wild turkey, coyote, red & gray fox, muskrat, mink and a great variety of songbirds. There is a barn, and a small cabin. | ||
